Monkey king

  The   Monkey King   or   Sun Wukong   ( simplified Chinese :   孙悟空 ;   traditional Chinese :   孫悟空 ;   pinyin :   Sūn Wù Kōng ) is a literary and religious figure best known as one of the main players in the 16th-century Chinese novel   Journey to the West   ( traditional Chinese :   西遊記 ;   simplified Chinese :   西游记 ), and many later stories and adaptations. [1]   In the novel, Sun Wukong is a monkey born from a stone who acquires supernatural powers through   Taoist   practices. After rebelling against heaven, he is imprisoned under a mountain by the   Buddha . After five hundred years, he accompanies the monk   Tang Sanzang   (唐三藏) riding on   the White Dragon Horse   and two other disciples,   Zhu Bajie   and   Sha Wujing , on a journey to obtain   Buddhist   sutras   from the   West   (India), where Buddha and his followers dwell.   Ninja Scroll   ( Japanese :   獣兵衛忍風帖 ,   Hepburn :   Jūbē Ninpūchō , lit. "Jubei's Ninja Chronicles")   is a 1993 Japanese   animated   jidaigeki - chanbara  film   written and directed by   Yoshiaki Kawajiri , starring the voices of   Kōichi Yamadera ,   Emi Shinohara ,   Takeshi Aono ,   Daisuke Gōri ,   Toshihiko Seki   and   Shūichirō Moriyama . The film was a co-production between   JVC ,   Toho   and   Movic , with   Madhouse   serving as the animation studio.   Ninja Scroll   was theatrically released in Japan on June 5, 1993, and received an English- dubbed   release through   Manga Entertainment   in 1995. Mundhum Trail

  The word “Mundum” finds its roots in kirati culture and history; it’s an oral guide to the kirati way of life and holds more traditional implications than religious tones. It is this fact that’s behind the christening of a new and up-and-coming trekking trail in Nepal’s eastern hills, the Mundum Trail. The trail charts hilly districts such as Khotang, Solukhumbu, Bhojpur and Sankhuwasabha. The trail begins at Chakhewa, first two days we will drive to Halesi which is 223km from Kathmandu and Diktel another 37KM. There are rewards here from the get-go. Halesi, arguably the most prized destination in the trail, is most famous as a religious site for Hindus, Buddhists, and kiratis, coming alive during festivities such as Sakela, Shivaratri, Bala Chaturdashi, Ram Nawami and Teej, among others.
